We stayed for 4 nights in room 1 which was very spacious and had lots of character. As it was very hot weather we kept all windows open and the room fan on all the time; this made the room very comfortable and we never experienced any noise issues.
The hotel is excellent location for river walks, the city center and the cricket club.
The breakfast every morning was excellent, we always ordered variations on the standard menu and each time we got exactly as ordered, served promptly and hot.
We ate one night in the hotel and had an excellent meal with 4 of us all happy with the experience. There are other good restaurants within walking distance if you want variety.
The staff were efficient and helpful, we ordered several taxis which arrived promptly and also got useful guidance in planning some trips. Housekeeping was very thorough.
Overall a very pleasant stay in a very pleasant hotel.

Wonderful hotel in a fabulous setting.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of August. It has a lovely personal charm , with excellent, attentive staff throughout. You feel like you belong as soon as you arrive, which is not often the case with many hotels today. Wonderful!! Will visit again.
Fabulous room with outstanding views of the river. Wonderful service, food and experience. On the second night there was a singer and bbq and we sat watching the sun set by the river. Such a lovely evening.
The hotel is in a fantastic position and we were able to have long river walks and access Worcester in a few minutes.
We have already told friends and family about this fabulous hotel and hopefully we will return again soon. A hidden gem.

Hotel in a city with a 'country house' feel
I very much enjoyed my three night stay in this venue which accurately describes itself as the 'country house hotel in the city'. The most memorable aspects of staying here are the delicious breakfasts served in the riverside restaurant and pottering around in the charming gardens (though the weather was mixed during my stay). I stayed in 'The Studio' which meant I had a sitting room area as well as a double bedroom to spread out in. The hotel is located in leafy surroundings on the edge of the city centre, which is a mere 10 minutes walk away. For me the hotel was an ideal base after winning tickets to watch county cricket at Worcestershire County Cricket Club in nearby New Road.

Hidden away down some quiet side streets with views of the river this is a great little boutique hotel. Just enough private parking. Lovely outdoor spaces, bar and resturant for residents and public. Wonderful, chatty, professional and helpful staff. Really good breakfast. (I highly recommend the porridge). They even prepared some take away bacon rolls for the day when I didn't have enough time to eat.
Great rooms with comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. Very quiet. Had the junior suite so lovely views of the river.

Great location on the river
Location is perfect, I had a beautiful river view, and a short walk from town via the Cathedral. The rooms are a little dated, but very spacious and had a lovely feel to them, with everything you need. I checked in late due to a work event, so didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities (you have access to a nearby gym) - but I did have a very delicious breakfast. My poached eggs were perfectly cooked, there was proper greek yoghurt and homemade granola, and all the staff were charming. If work brings me back, I'll definitely book to stay again.

We had a lovely weekend at The Diglis Hotel, our room was amazing ground floor, patio doors leading onto a patio overlooking the river, the staff were very friendly and food amazing, hotel looks dated but it was very clean definitely recommend

Lovely Wedding Anniversary Treat
Stayed 2 nights at The Diglis Hotel for our wedding anniversary- 27th to 29th July. Warm and friendly welcome at reception and very friendly staff all round. Really tasty breakfast cooked to order. Fantastic evening meal on our actual anniversary-28th July. We enjoyed all three courses although we did have to share a dessert!! Our room and bed were very clean. Great shower in the bathroom. Great to sit outside overlooking the river for our pre-dinner drinks. Easy short walk into the city from

My husband & I visited for sparkling afternoon tea 16/5. What a glorious day we had by the river Severn. Afternoon tea was magnificent,the best we've ever had. Lovely sandwiches & freshly baked cakes . Home made sausage roll slice was a nice touch. Staff were friendly+ attentive. We'll definitely be back. Well-done

Lovely old hotel with each individually, well furnished and equipped room providing plenty of 'home comforts'. Unbeatable location, on the riverbank with instant access to a great 'promenade', the Cathedral and the heart of the town.
Service is very friendly and efficient, the food is excellent value and prepared with evident care and skill.
Our favourite hotel when ever we are in the area (or if we have a reasonable excuse to be any where nearby)!

Excellent food, venue and service
Booked a birthday lunch for 20 people, great food, good sized portions, attentive waiting staff. Megan and her team couldn’t do enough help make the lunch a success, everyone loved it. I would definitely recommend the Diglis House Hotel as a place to eat.

Spent a lovely night stay there for my partners 50th as we had a meal booked in Worcester. The staff were friendly and polite and the room was clean and tidy the view over the river was lovely. Breakfast was also great as was the staff who served us. Will be definitely booking again

Wonderful wedding weekend
We stayed for a wedding taking place at the venue. The room was lovely, the hotel was lovely, the grounds were lovely. Staff were fantastic and so helpful throughout. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was delicious. We'd preordered as a large group, and food was served at the same time and everyone was happy.
The only area I would improve would be the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Coffee bags as an upgrade from instant sachets would have been perfect. But that didn't spoil the weekend.

Our immense thanks go to all the front of house team members we interacted with and also those back of house who we didn’t meet.
From the moment of check in, which in itself was incredible - welcoming, efficient, informative, friendly and fun all rolled into one, we all had an amazing few days.
Each and every member of staff was warm, friendly and professional. The bar staff and servers (sometimes being the same people) really helped to make this experience a thoroughly enjoyable one for us. They made sure that our every need was met and appeared when we needed them whilst never hovering or being overbearing.
A few of us had afternoon food on the day of arrival, we then had two nights of private dining and two breakfast services, all of which were perfection. Everything was served and presented beautifully, tasted amazing, always came out quickly and with the private dining - together. Our highest compliments to the chef & his team, and to those who delivered their efforts to our tables.
You have a pretty special property and a team who make it all the more so. Every last one of our group had nothing but the highest of praise. Most have already requested that we make a return trip next year.
My sincere thanks to you all for helping me look good in the organisation of this event; we’ve had a few now and this one has undoubtedly been the best so far, a resounding success.

Perfect wedding day at Diglis
We recently celebrated our wedding at Diglis House Hotel, and it was truly the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The venue itself was beautiful, and we had incredible support from the events coordinator Megan. She was absolutely fabulous—calm, organised, and so attentive to every detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and thanks to her, the whole day ran seamlessly. Our guests commented on how smoothly everything flowed, with lovely vibes and what a wonderful day it was- and we couldn’t agree more! We felt completely taken care of. We’re so grateful to Diglis and the amazing team for giving us a wedding day we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a perfect wedding day
Overall a great stay
We stayed at the Diglis House Hotel to attend the Pudding club event. Food was very good and my husband especially enjoyed the puddings on offer. Staff were very friendly & efficient. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was substantial.
