Parking

Blue Badge parking is located at the front of the hotel, if required please speak to our reservations team at the time of booking who will do their best to reserve before your arrival. Assistance with luggage is available upon request. Car park surface at the front of the hotel is tarmac.

Main House and Reception

At the Diglis House Hotel, the main entrance features five steps with a handrail.

Guests requiring wheelchair access are kindly advised to use the main car park entrance. From there, proceed around the right side of the hotel, passing the conservatory and navigating a slight incline to reach the bar entrance. If you require assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.  

Bedrooms

We have seven ground floor rooms in our Annexe building. The Security Door for the Annexe bedrooms measures at 86cm wide.

One bedroom comes with the following:

  • Lower bathroom sink (from floor to sink 80cm). 
  • Higher level toilet (from the floor to top if the lid 52cm).
  • Toilet with grab rails.
  • Walk-in shower with a supporting chair.
  • Wheelchair accessible through main door measuring at 85cm wide. 
  • Patio door (French doors opening into the garden) measures at 100cm wide. 
  • Bed height is 71cm (from floor to top of mattress).

Bedrooms with non-allergenic bedding is available on request.

Laundry service is available, extra charges will apply.

If you require a fridge in your room, please inform the team upon booking and they will do their best to accommodate you.

All bedrooms have remote controlled TVs and subtitles are available. All bedrooms have a telephone.

Public Areas

One accessible toilet located on the ground floor of our Annexe.

Bar and Lounge Dining Room accessible by wheelchair. Conservatory Dining Room has two steps, however, a ramp (70cm wide) can be provided for wheelchair access.

Entrance to the William Leader Lounge has five steps. Lounge can additionally be accessed via fire door, which has one small step.

Our Seymour Suite function room is wheelchair accessible. If you are joining us for a conference or event in our Seymour Suite, please enter the the main doors via the Annexe, a lift is situated on the right as you enter.

Please ask a member of the team if you require assistance at any point during your stay.

Dining

Room Service is available from 7:00am-11:00pm, charges may apply. 

Our Grounds

The grounds are accessible by wheelchair via the main car park entrance. From there, proceed around the right side of the hotel, passing the conservatory. If you require assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

Our gardens are not wheelchair accessible due to steps and grass.

General Accessibility

Staff are on hand to assist 24 hours a day.

Assistance dogs accepted with prior notice.

In accordance with legislation, smoking is not permitted in the hotel including e-cigarettes. Outside areas are provided for smokers. Please be mindful of other guests and diners when smoking.
